You can use VAIDR to manage and analyze your own image data, or you can get our very own automated VAIDR microscope.
The microscope is very good value for money when it comes to automated microscopy, but more importantly, it provides perfect integration with the VAIDR software.
Users enjoy:
- hassle-free imaging,
- no transfer of data for analysis,
- fast workflows for individual experiments and routine applications.
Check out the tutorial that explains the imaging workflow in the VAIDR software.
The point of VAIDR is that it's not enough to image your samples. It's not even enough to analyze your images. To create value, image data, metadata, and analysis results need to be stored safely, coherently, and accessible quickly and easily.
VAIDR keeps your data in order by storing everything in one database, always available through a user-friendly user interface.

AI-based image analysis is at the core of VAIDR. Once data has been imaged or uploaded to the VAIDR system, VAIDR makes it very easy to implement powerful image analyses with very little effort and without any need for specialty knowledge—if you can use a browser, you can use VAIDR.
There are two ways to implement an image analysis with VAIDR:
- if you know what it is you want to quantify in your images—cell count, nucleus area, organoid size…—then you'll want to teach VAIDR to see what you see and quantify it.
Check out the VAIDR image segmentation tutorial to learn how that's done. - If you want VAIDR to figure out for itself how to tell apart different kinds of images—healthy/sick cells; early/late cultivation; good/bad iPSC differentiation outcome…—then you'll want to go with image classification.
Check out the VAIDR image classification tutorial to learn how VAIDR can learn from a lot of images to tell the difference between conditions.
And of course, if you're not sure which one is for your application, check out both tutorials and/or get in touch!
VAIDR lets you visualize analysis results in various places throughout the application. You can use the visualization features to get a quick glance at what's going on in your cell culture, or to create a plot (including statistics) of your experiment data.
